Have you ever had a space, you wanted to remodel? not sure what to do with it?
This building is located in Ajao estate – Lagos. Its a three bedroom flat lying fallow. Our client came up with the bright idea to get it fitted out as short let apartments. He contacted IMarcpro Architects in Lagos for the exercise and we went to work. After inspection of the facility we went to work. On the ground floor we have 3 bedroom apartment same as the first floor.
Our imagination ran wild with excitement as we took pictures of the spaces. The client had an idea of what they wanted; a luxury lounge and waiting area, ensuite rooms, small kitchenette, all we had to do was convert the derelict spaces into luxury spaces with the desired feel and warmth

Most of the spaces that need maintenance works and minor renovations which included plumbing, electrical works, removal of all existing fittings to make room for new ones. We prepared a renovation plan and interior refit proposal which he readily approved and we went to work.
THE RENOVATION AND INTERIOR REFIT WORKS
The ceilings were removed to allow for new POP ceiling, new electrical points for lights, cctv, light switches, sockets and Air conditioning works. New toilets and bathrooms had to be introduced. The kitchen fittings had to stripped to receive new ones. Beyond the civil works of demolitions we took the renovation and restyling works to the next notch.
THE AESTHETIC DESIGN AND INTERIOR FEEL
iMarc projects (architects in lagos) put in our best and went in full swing, we re-created new looks and appeal to the entire spaces with 3D Renderings to give the client a visual experience of the expected outcome.
The colors were warm the materials had combination of wooden walnut feel giving the spaces an ambiance of a fully relaxing, exciting environment and luxurious atmosphere.
Light was everything to us to illuminate and deliberately optimize the public areas and make it more exciting. We made use of ceiling recessed lights, coloured lights and spots lights.
THE LOUNGE
Our team carved out a seating area fully furnished with soft padded leather seats and multi – media unit for full relaxation experience. The dining and bar areas were not left. We worked with an interplay of colour that flows across all the sections creating the required ambiance and transition between these spaces.
Space-saving furniture were utilized to allow easy movement around the spaces. A mini bar was also provided for relaxation while the guest enjoy their drinks.

THE BATHROOMS & KITCHEN
The Bathroom spaces were also not left out. We utilized bright colors in the bathrooms finished to give them the feel of a more enlarged wash space while the kitchen has a lush display or rich wenge kitchen cabinets and accessories

From an old deteriorated flat to a luxurious service apartment, This is definitely a great project and short stay unit for any one in the Lagos – Ikeja environ based on its proximity with the Murtala Muhammed International Airport Lagos.
